Family Violence Affects Everyone: Are you a raising a child, grandchild, adopted child or foster child? Have the children been effected by family violence?
The Families In Safe Hands program of Lutheran Social Service is partnering with the MN Domestic Abuse project in offering a ten week series for children who have been exposed to family violence. While the children are in group sessions with therapist the caregivers meet to learn to better understand and help the children in their care.
The program is free of charge and includes a free meal and free childcare for children to young or inappropriate for the therapy groups.

Caregivers learn how to help the children
Intake appointments will begin early in January with the first session planned to start on Tuesday February 28, 2012.
All groups will take place at: Lutheran Social Service 2400 Park Avenue Minneapolis
