A training for parents, caregivers and professionals who serve adoptive, foster and kinship families

Please join Nicole Ross as she provides an interactive workshop that offers creative techniques to assist in the development of social skills among children with neurological differences. Each technique can easily be implemented into a child’s daily living across a variety of situations. Parents will learn how to use the tech-niques through a hands on approach.

Nicole Ross, MS, graduated with a Master of Science from Saint Cloud University and has been intensively trained in Sand Tray Therapy, Experiential Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy and Somatic Experiencing. Nicole owns and operates The Creative Therapy Center in Elk River, Minnesota. The Center specializes in play thera-py services for children and teens who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and attachment. Ross cur-rently serves as the President of the Minnesota Association for Play Therapy and Vice-Chair of the NICU Community. She has presented at conferences at local, state and national levels on topics related to play therapy, sexual behavior problems, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
