SESSION ONE-"A 3-D View: A Complete Look at Your Adopted Child" 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Most parents have questions about their children’s behavior, often blaming themselves and wondering what went wrong. Dr. Delaney will help parents and professionals gain a better understanding into the lives of an adopted child. This workshop will provide thoughtful solutions and interventions for behaviors such as lying, stealing, defiance, anger, property destruction and running away.

SESSION TWO-"Seven Underlying Issues in Kids with Complex Trauma Histories" 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Dr. Rick Delaney will address Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) by discussing the seven underlying areas that are seen in children with C-PTSD (eg. Lack of self-worth and emotional control, loss of trust and sense of safety, etc). C-PSTD is often a result of chronic, prolonged abuse and relational trauma. Delaney offers therapeutic interventions to help address these areas related to behavior problems associated with C-PTSD.
