Families must have attended an informational meeting through the agency or county they are working with prior to attending a class series.

Counseling Center, St. Paul, MN. Attendance at Developmental Attachment-I is
recommended, but not a pre-requisite for attending Part II.

INFANT ADOPTION PANEL - at HOPE:

6:30-8:30 pm Thursday, February 21 - free For anyone considering adopting an
infant from the United States. A panel of birth parents and adoptive parents
will share their experiences and answer questions.

MULTICULTURAL PARENTING IN A RACIST SOCIETY - at HOPE:
9 am-5 pm Saturday, April 26 - $50/person or free for HOPE clients & their
extended family, and clients of any Minnesota county adopting Minnesota
Waiting Children. This workshop, led by Shelley Brown, helps prospective
parents explore what ethnic minority children need from their families and
support people to develop strong self esteem.
