"Shane and I found out having children would be hard for us, so one day
I came home and suggested adoption. The more we thought about it, the
more excited we got. Eight months later we went down to Florida to get a
6 week old premature little baby who we named Elizabeth. We wanted to
adopt some more but the money just wasn't there. Coming back from some
event in Minneapolis we saw this billboard that said, "Adoption does not
have to cost you anything." I hurried and wrote down the number, called
the next day and started the process of another adoption. We were
looking for boys 5-9 years old, but somehow Reanna's story just jumped
out at us. At first she wasn't what we thought we were looking for in
an adopted child, but it turned out she was EXACTLY what we needed.
Reanna came to our house as a foster child in November 2008, and we
legally adopted her July, 2009."
