Center for Africans New to America (CANA)
Works to serve and support African immigrants and refugees. Identifies resources to advocate for services. Provides services from birth-adult for assessments/screenings; case management plans; individualized treatment plans; family therapy/child custody supervision; multicultural family therapy; recovery/evaluation; community integration.

Indian Health Board: (612) 721-9873, Margaret Monroe
Individual & family therapy specific to grief and loss run by psychologists. Also have a social worker with students who run groups.
Other services: testing for ADHD, ADD, etc. use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Re-processing) for nightmares due to trauma
Financial Resources:
Programs funded through third party billing, Medical Assistance, sliding fee, or insurance. They will also provide transportation if needed to attend therapy or groups. There are no financial resources for burial costs, but this agency makes many referrals to services that do have funds.
