Professional Collaboration: Workshop Options for Parents & Professionals
The MN ADOPT Education Program supports the adoption and foster care community by providing educational opportunities to parents and professionals. Our workshops are available at various times and locations across the state. We also offer both live webinar workshops and webinars previously recorded which are available for download.
These are Educational Workshops for Adoptive, Foster, and Kinship Families and Professionals.
County, Agency and Tribal workers can collaborate on workshops geared towards adoptive, kinship and foster families. As a worker, you will work with MN ADOPT staff around the presentation topic, speaker, date and location. These workshops are open to the public, and sometimes will be closed to Professionals.

These are County and Tribal-based Workshops focused for Foster Families and Professionals.
These trainings and webinars are specially formatted for foster parents in your county and funded by DHS. County and Tribal workers will choose from a list of topics and work with MN ADOPT staff to coordinate the date and location. These workshops are open to the families within the county/counties requesting it.

These are Educational Workshops for Professionals who work with adoptive and foster families.
County, Agency and Tribal workers can request a specific topic or speaker to present to professionals. These workshops are open to other professionals in the community.
