A message regarding COVID-19:
As COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to expand globally, we want to communicate our commitment to service continuity while at the same time, ensuring the health and safety of our clients, partners and employees.
Effective Monday, March 16, all MN ADOPT staff will be working at home until further notice. We are fortunate to have the processes, practices and infrastructure in place that allow for our staff to work at home while also providing uninterrupted services to the adoption, foster care and kinship communities. However, we also understand that some modifications are needed in how some of these services are provided.
The below information will assist you in better understand how these changes may impact how you interact with our programming and staff.
Communicating with Us – There will be no change in the process of communicating directly with staff via email and through the Contact Us page. However, if you would like to speak to someone by phone you will need to leave a voice message and we will call you back as soon as we are able. Please see individual program pages for any additional instructions they may have regarding specific program communication.
Communication Timelines – Because most of the families we serve are adjusting to an unexpected change in work and school schedules, we anticipate an increase in a demand for our services. Please know that we will respond to everyone as quickly as possible, with the goal of responding within 48 hours.
Educational Offerings – Our goal is to change our upcoming in-person workshops to an online format, although some may also be postponed or cancelled. Please check our Upcoming Workshops page for the current status of all scheduled workshops.
