Description

(October 2020) This workshop series is designed to open the world of sensory processing as an ally on a child’s journey. We will cover the concepts in understandable language with practical tips in each webinar. The participant will feel equipped with understanding, as well as everyday activities that can be used no matter the location.

Part 1 – What is Sensory Processing really?
This first in a series of 4 workshops will provide definitions for each sensory system and their application to function in everyday living. The participant will be able to consider the differences between sensory modulation and sensory discrimination as well as be provided some “take home” ideas that could be implemented at home, at school, in the center even on a shoestring budget.
