Christina Bast is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) currently practicing as mental health professional at Fraser Eden Prairie and Eagan locations. Fraser is a multi-site clinic that provides a wide range of outpatient pediatric services, including occupational therapy, speech therapy, day treatment, and mental health services.

Christina has completed advanced training via the University of Minnesota’s Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate program (2013-2014), as well as the Circle of Security Parenting Program model in 2016, and has experience providing individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, preschool mental health day treatment, and skills training services.

Christina’s primary practice has been with young children, with diagnoses including Disruptive Behavior Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Adjustment Disorder. Christina’s educational and professional experiences provide a base of knowledge, from which she draws to advocate for and work with families across the permanency spectrum.

“I believe that working with adoptees should include their whole family, as adoption is a whole-family experience. I practice from a strengths and systems theoretical perspective, and see relationships as the key to therapeutic progress.”
