I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Minnesota. I have a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.  I have experience as a Crisis Counselor and an Outpatient Psychotherapist.  I am an Approved Supervisor by the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as an Approved Supervisor for Registered Play Therapy.

In my practice I see children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in all stages of their lives. I am experienced in helping those with relationship struggles, blended family issues, divorce, parenting and single parenting issues, adoption, developmental and behavioral disorders, grief and loss issues, anxiety and affective disorders (e.g., depression, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.).

I am also a Registered Play Therapist and a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Counselor.  I have been trained and utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an integrative psychotherapy approach that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional stress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

I am an Adjunct Instructor at Argosy University in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program.

My focus is to support and reinforce the particular strengths and goals that each client brings to the process of therapy and help them identify areas for growth.
