Gloria is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW).  Previously, she served as the supervisor of the Hennepin County Mobile Child Crisis Team (5 years) and as a psychiatric social worker (11 years). Over the years, Gloria provided counseling in the following settings: private practice, community mental health center, a corrections residential treatment facility, as well as an outpatient mental health clinic.

She has over two decades of experience working with children, youth, and families experiencing behavioral and mental health issues, Gloria recently completed the Permanency and Adoption Competency Certification (PACC) training to become an adoption-competent therapist. Gloria is passionate about engaging clients with histories of traumatic experiences who are struggling in times of crisis and assisting them in stabilization. She has specialty areas in domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, adoption, and crisis counseling.
