I am a clinical social worker specializing in individual and family therapy. I am a certified Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. I am in private practice in Golden Valley, MN.

With over thirty-five years’ experience as an individual and family therapist for adults and children, and as a graduate of Columbia University in New York, I specialize in strengths-based, solution-focused therapy and I serve as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, trauma, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and working with the LGBTQ population.

In addition to being a prominent individual therapist, I have presented at many of the Minnesota Association of Children’s Mental Health conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of trauma and the use of EMDR.

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
