You are looking for support and are desperate for change and understanding, whether for yourself, your child, or your family. You have not found a good fit within traditional therapy settings, and you long for something different. Sharon Raugutt of Redemption Psychotherapy Services PLLC (RPS) believes that, just as every individual is unique and has unique needs, therapeutic approaches need to be personalized and adapted to fit each client or family in order to be effective. Sharon strives to partner with you and your family members in developing a client-centered treatment plan that will most effectively enable you to achieve your goals. While Sharon has had a wide range of experience serving adults, children, and families with diverse mental health issues, she feels particularly privileged to walk alongside and support caregivers, clients, and families who have experienced stress/trauma.

RPS offers a very beautiful and private, park-like setting that promotes a sense of safety and enables opportunity for rest and renewal. Clients explore experiences and challenges through a variety of expressive, experiential, play, somatosensory, and cognitive approaches; faith-based interventions, including prayer, spiritual resources, and/or scripture, are also available at client request. A large indoor space is set up for all ages, and clients have opportunity to spend therapy sessions outdoors, walk wooded trails, sit before a campfire, and engage with cats, dogs, and horses.

Sharon received a BS in Family Studies in 2005 from Western Baptist (Corban College), and graduated in 2010 with a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Specialized trainings include EMDR, AIR Network, TF-CBT, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), Play Therapy, Animal Assisted Play Therapy (TM), multiple forms of canine/equine-assisted therapy trainings, and a focus on complex trauma/attachment/dissociation issues. Sharon is a wife and mother, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in both MN and ND. She relaxes by spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, cats, and horses, and exploring nature.
