I have had the privilege of providing support for adoptive/foster/kinship families for more than seven years, and I enjoy utilizing creative methods for helping struggling families and individuals recognize their strengths, improve relationships and communication, and develop effective coping skills. I consider it a privilege to assist families in working through difficult situations.

I have a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and extensive training/experience in trauma and autism. With the assistance of my two Registered Pet Partners Therapy Dogs, I specialize in Animal Assisted Play Therapy ™; I am also certified through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).

I relax by enjoying my family, playing with my dogs, cats, and horses, and walking the trails on our beautiful property.
