I grew up in Albert Lea, MN.  I attended and graduated from the U of MN in 1984 with a  Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Child Psychology minor.  I earned a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University, Minneapolis, MN  in 2007. I have over twenty years’ experience working professionally with people at:

In my private therapy practice I provide therapy for children, families, adults and couples who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral issues and stress. Together we identify goals and objectives that may include strengthening family structure, identifying emotions, their triggers and what to do with them, work on positive communication, learn coping skills, increase self-esteem etc. to reduce negative symptoms and DBT skills. Together we can make lasting changes.
