Ellie Anderson, MSW, LICSW, is a Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing mental health services. Ellie has a BA in psychology and earned her Master of Social Work degree from the College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas.

Ellie provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. She has provided mental health services in school-based, in-home, and outpatient mental health programs. Her areas of special interest include working with trauma survivors, as well as treatment of anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, adjustment issues and parental support.

Ellie has specialized training in working with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced domestic and sexual violence. She also is trained in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and other evidence based practices for treating depression, anxiety and disruptive behaviors in youth. She is trained in, and has experience conducting, Early Childhood Mental Health Assessments for children ages 3-5. She is qualified as a Clinical Supervisor by the Minnesota Board of Social Work and the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.

Ellie is also an adoptive parent, and has worked extensively with children/families in the foster care system through her years as a therapist. She is familiar with the adoption process, and is aware of the unique needs of foster/adoptive children and their families.
