Jeannie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and provides therapeutic services to children of all ages, teens, adults, and families.  Jeannie has extensive experience in working with children with histories of loss and disrupted relationships and children who have experienced trauma and abuse.

Jeannie’s clients present with a variety of needs, including children with attachment disorders, symptoms of anxiety and depression, autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.

When working with clients, Jeannie embraces a strength-based perspective and utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to develop and enhance a client’s repertoire of coping skills and strategies. These include relationship-based therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, nervous system tools and supports, and play therapy as a means for children to express themselves and resolve conflict.

Jeannie has worked in community mental health clinics and provided in-home family therapy prior to working in private practice and is committed to building and supporting strong parent-child relationships and collaborating with outside providers.
