Sharon Bonnett, MSW, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing therapeutic services for children, adolescents and families. Sharon received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Bethel University, St. Paul and Masters of Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Sharon is passionate about helping children and families work together toward positive change and healing. Sharon’s clinical experience includes issues related to early childhood trauma, adoption, attachment, sensory integration, parent education, immigration and transracial families. Sharon has experience in providing home-based family therapy and preschool mental health day treatment. Sharon is a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner. TBRI® is a family-based intervention that is designed for children who have experienced relationship-based traumas such as institutionalization, multiple foster placements, maltreatment, and/or neglect.

Sharon has completed post graduate training through the University of Minnesota’s Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate program (PACC) and is a Training in Adoption (TAC) certified provider.

In addition to her clinical work, Sharon has experience in international child welfare; advocating for family preservation and community-based care in East Africa.
