Signe has been providing therapeutic services since 2009. She has training in trauma, attachment, and experience in providing early childhood mental health services (ages 0-5). Signe has had training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health with a strong passion for working with caregivers and their young children together through the use of Child Parent Psychotherapy. Signe also has training in Circle of Security, and uses Theraplay, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). and These models are beneficial for working with children and families who are struggling with attachment issues and struggles that happen in foster care and adoption placements. Signe also works with children 5 and older as well as adults, with specific experience focusing on self-esteem, self-confidence, anxiety, and depression.

Signe received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, majoring in Psychology and Child and Family Studies. She obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University in Eagan, MN. Signe is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota and is a Mental Health Specialist, endorsed by the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health – Infant and Early Childhood Division.

Signe’s passion lies in focusing on how to build strength, hope, and healing for clients and families she serves.
