Amanda Ripley-Kayala, MA, LPCC, LADC
I specialize in Co-Occurring Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Disorders as well as working with Trauma and with the LGBTQ community. I am a trauma-informed, holistic, person-centered therapist whose goal is to create a trusting and compassionate therapeutic atmosphere which encouraged self-exploration, self-awareness and movement to achieve goals in therapy, life and to help others be their best selves.
While I haven’t had the privilege of working with children or teens in adoptive/foster/kinship families, I have had the honor of helping adults who have been on such journeys learn to better understand, appreciate and find their places in the world. I want to continue to fully support adults who have had those experiences as well as the adults who choose to become caregivers of children within the adoptive/foster/kinship system.
Amanda is Level I & II EMDR Trained.
