Steve has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, and currently works in private practice in Richfield, MN. He works with a wide range of issues, including adoption and attachment related issues, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, divorce, grief and loss, self-esteem, and behavioral and emotional regulation challenges, and often includes parenting consultation in the process.

Steve has been trained extensively in Experiential Play Therapy for work with younger children (roughly ages 3-11), and uses a range of therapeutic modalities in talk therapy. Steve is Christian and also includes a faith perspective for clients that desire to have their faith be a part of the therapy process. Steve received his B.A. in Spanish and Business from the University of St. Thomas, and his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University, Minneapolis.
